Hexis profile settings for weight loss

If you would like to lose weight during our group coaching session, you can set this in Hexis so that your fueling plan will have you in a calorie deficit while making sure you fuel sufficiently for your activities.


Please note that a goal of weight loss should only be used in Cycles 1 and 2 of winter group coaching; we do not recommend losing weight during Cycles 3 and 4, as fatigue and workout intensity are higher, and your energy and recovery needs increase. However, if you really want to lose weight even in Cycles 3 and 4, keep your weight goal set to "Maintain" but change your weight in your Hexis profile to your goal weight so that Hexis will use this weight to plan your fueling; Namrita demonstrates this in the video below.


To optimize your Hexis plan for weight loss, there are several settings to check are set accurately, all found in your Profile within the app:


  1. Goal (lose, maintain, or gain weight - found in the Goals section)

  2. Target Weight (found in the Goals section)

  3. Current Weight (found in the Goals section)

  4. Hours Per Week (err on the high side - Found in the Workouts section)

  5. Activity Levels (be honest! - found in the Lifestyle section)
