Optimize fueling for key workouts

When you want to make sure that your fueling is optimized before and after a key workout or event, Hexis allows you to set any workout as a key performance or a competition. Here's how:

  1. Tap into the workout to edit it in Hexis.

  2. In the "Workout Detail" section, toggle on "Key Performance" or "Competition."

  3. Tap "Save Workout."

  4. Hexis will adjust the day's fueling plan to properly fuel the workout and to rebalance your carbohydrate intake throughout the day to accommodate this workout and optimal recovery from it.


What's the difference between the Key Performance and Competition designations?

When a workout is toggled to Key Performance, Hexis will rebalance your carbohydrate intake to provide for optimal fueling before, during, and after the workout.


When a workout is toggled to Competition, Hexis will prescribe sufficient carb loading for the workout and will adjust pre-workout fueling accordingly.
